Leadership/Student Council

Job Descriptions:

President: Head of student government runs all meetings, liaison between school and principal. Also, in charge of coordinating Friday announcements. (6^th grade only).

Vice-President: Assist the president in all duties, takes over when the president is absent. Also, in charge of coordinating Friday announcements.   (5^th, 6^th grade)

Secretary: Assist in recording minutes and historical documents of the school. (4^th, 5^th, 6^th grade)

Commissioner of Athletics: Students are responsible for the maintenance of athletic equipment and facilities.  (4^th, 5^th, 6^th grade)

Spirit Commissioner: Student is responsible for the planning of school spirit activities, such as rallies. (4^th, 5^th, 6^th)

Commissioner of Community Service: Student is responsible for planning and organizing community service projects in which the school participates. This student, along with the Commissioner of Character will also be responsible for raising the flag each morning. (4^th, 5^th, 6^th)

Commissioner of Character: Student is responsible for all character counts activities including character counts week and student rewards. Student is responsible for working with staff on all S.R.R. related events and activities. They will also be responsible for raising the flag each morning with the Commissioner of Community Service. (4^th, 5^th, 6^th)

Fire Marshall: Assists administration with all required fire drills. (4^th, 5^th, 6^th)

Studnets must meet the following requirements:

1. Students must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or greater

2. Students must have no financial obligations.

3. Students must have no discipline restrictions. Students who have discipline issues may be removed from office or not allowed to run.
